“Courage cannot exist without fear and fear is everywhere in life. Fear of failure, loss, rejection. The key is to deny fear it's purpose, which is to hold us back. If the men I served with were afraid that day, I never saw it. They showed me the true definition of courage. Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the ability to move forward in the face of it. There is beauty in this definition because courage can exist in the decisions we make every day. Courage exists in the individual who accepts who they are and openly lives the life they want in the face of rejection, courage exists in those who challenge their own perceptions in the face of accepting they are not infallible. Be courageous and appreciate courage in others who take action in the face of fear.”

What is your favorite day of the week? Wednesday, I don't know why..
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Germany or Africa. Germany, because I want to learn about their culture, which is part of my ancestry, including Dutch and Czechoslovakian. And Africa because they have plentiful exotic wildlife (and I heard they have very beautiful landscapes).
Favorite animal? Wolf, deer, elephant, any kind of bird, and interestingly, Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
Scariest movie I've ever seen? The Call, the scenes on where the killer hurts a guy, puts him in his trunk, where another girl is kidnapped, only to regain consciousness, gasping for breath scared me. It wasn't a horror movie, it was more of a crime movie. What got me was my fear of dying I had when I was a kid. When I would be just reflecting on stuff before I fell asleep on my bed, I would sometimes think about death. It traumatized me so much I would burst out crying run to my mother's room, asking her to tuck me in again.
